Interested in this American Gothic print?

Grant Wood created this amazing work of art in 1930. This was right before the Great Depression.

The work depicts a farmer and his daughter standing in front of a rural Iowa farmhouse.

The work’s name is from the style of architecture used in building the house. The Gothic architecture style is from the middle ages in Europe. The type of style used to design some of Europe’s most famous cathedrals.

The house in the work has such characteristics, like the window and structure of the house. Of course, with a rural Americana style.

Today you can find this work at the Art Institute of Chicago.

Very inexpensive and well made. I feel like I got so much more than I paid for. It looks legit, especially if you add a nice gaudy frame to it.
