Pretty nice. The print job is a little on the cheap side, but I found the back to be very adhesive. Nonetheless, I read previous reviews and stuck mine to a poster backing from the hardware store and then framed around it. Ultimately spent more on that than the picture itself. All-in-all though I’m very happy with it as it brightens up my basement room which has no windows. It’s definitely something to look at. The product itself came quickly (Prime) and in good shape with little to know wrinkles.
UPDATE: the seller refunded my purchase and sent a new item - without being asked. They explained in an email a production challenge, sad they'd refunded my purchased and apologized. The delivery was super fast. I was really surprised and pleased by this and so far, so good on the new item. Thank you!
I have no complaints about the seller, shipping, etc. The piece was nice to look at and would have worked perfectly in the space I needed it except...
It just wouldn't stay on the wall! I didn't try to reposition it, had clean hands, clean wall... followed the directions and it just kept falling off. It would stay a few days then fall. The last fall resulted in it sticking to itself so it is no longer useable.
This wall picture is a beautiful and very serene. I only have one window in my bedroom and this opens up the space in a nice way. It's a kind of silly idea but I like the way mine looks. It does not stick well, mine kept falling off until I tacked it up
Great product! Looks great in our RV
I purchased Lake - 02. Having never worked with a wall sticker before, my husband and I were a little apprehensive putting it up. However, it went up easily and looks beautiful. We did lay it out flat on the deck for a few minutes to let the sun soften it up. That helped a lot since it was shipped tightly rolled from the wrong edge.
Very nice, and very well made. Nice and thick
Love looking at this. Want to step thru the window a get away. You won't be disappointed. Easy to install.
First of all, I want to thank the other people who reviewed this item and included photos! It really helped me to make a decision about whether to purchase this item or not!
I recently moved into a bedroom with no windows. I have never lived in a bedroom with no windows, but I didn't think it would be much of an adjustment since the bedroom has two double doors and light from windows coming in from adjacent spaces near it. I couldn't believe how wrong I was! Within the first couple of nights, I noticed that the room was very dark. I painted the walls a brighter white. I added a lighter blanket and re-arranged the room so that almost everything was a lighter color. It still looked too dark. I kept staring at the biggest part of the wall and thinking that I wished there was a window on it. The wall itself had sustained some damage from years' past and it had been patched over, but it looked quite obvious and I wanted to cover it. I had heard of "faux" windows before, so I looked online out of curiosity. This was was the largest that I found (3ft tall by 4ft across, I believe) for this price. I had seen some similar items where the reviewers said the printing quality was poor, but most reviewers said this one was high quality.
I also noticed some similar items were shipped from a foreign country. I have no problem with that, but I was really hoping to get something quickly. I was literally starting to lose my mind without a window to look out of. When I saw this piece, I was surprised by the variety of photo prints to choose from, as well as the window frame choices (some are white, some are dark, etc). I chose the dark frame to match the door frames of the room, and I chose the picture that most resembled my room's theme. I received this item in just a few days! The photo quality is great! I did notice that one reviewer said she used push-pins to put her item up. My walls are slightly textured, so I followed her example. I used an industrial staple gun and simply stapled the corners. It looks amazing and I can't stop smiling! What a great investment!
Good product. Two challenges 1) getting it to lay flat because it is delivered in a one inch or less rolled up form in a six inch or more wide box 2) getting it straight on wall single handed. No folds or creases thank goodness. Took five or six tries but finally got it straight and flat with no air bubbles and it has adhered to the wall just fine so far.
I got it to lay flat by unrolling on a conference room table and laying reams of paper on top of it for a few hours. Got requests from meetings to leave it on the table as a surface.
Tried to just thumbtack it to wall but mine developed 1/2" wide creases where the backing pulled away possibly due to humidity changes so I pulled backing off and applied it to wall.
I suggest using techniques for applying preglued vinyl wallpaper- get top corners straight then press the center to get it to stick and work out with a dull flat edge from center to eliminate air bubbles. Don't be afraid to pull back from a corner to the center - mine stuck fine although I pulled it off three or four times.
Take care not to let sticky backing stick itself to another part of the backing- may be difficult to unstick.
Expect a challenge if you do this by your self.
If you still get an air bubble, perhaps from wall out gassing, try pressing a ream of paper against it to force the air back where it came from.
Best be sure the wall is clean and free of dust or dirt or anything greasy like handprints or cigarette smoke residue.
Picture placement rules seem to apply and work well so you want the top third of it about eye level to you as you stand.
Good value for the money especially for inexpensive but unique office wall or glass surface decor. Or perhaps table top decoration.
Looks nice but is hard to get all the bubbles out. Need two people.
