Easy to install, transforms the room!!! Would highly recommend
The picture / scenery is not as sharp as I thought it would be, but it's ok. I did not peel the backing paper and stick to the textured wall, but used the paper backing intact, then attached via poster tape. It's not bad, this item does have a slight smell of rubber or some kind of chemical odor at first, gave me a slight headache. The odor went away after a day or two. This does brighten up the area I place it at, which was over the kitchen sink. IMO, the price of $20 is a bit much for what you get...
Not described as 4 separate pieces. Not easy to hang
Hi there!! I ordered this decal, put it up, but I do not like it. However, I did not save the backing paper or package. Does this mean that I have to keep it? It is VERY phony looking. I liked it for a day or two, but after looking at it for the 3rd day... I just think it to be so, as I said already, phony.
I DO want to order a few phrases or Biblical phrases. Do you suppose we could do a "trade- off"? I appreciate all of your merchandise...i.e. a cell phone, my daughter ordered and was very pleased with furniture that really is beautiful !! I ordered an almost, 8 x 10. area rug, Victorian style. I LOVE it!! The coloring is perfect!! The styling is wonderful - now I just have to order a "non-slip" 'gripper' for under the rug. :-) Thank you for carrying for so many terrific things!! The ONLY reason I put only 4 stars was because of the "window decal, that I don't like
Love it. My husband had no problems hanging it and it looks great in his mancave.
Beautiful design, looks amazing on the wall!! Great product...
I converted a large closet into a sleeping space for my son and this thing was the perfect finishing touch. Definitely people to install. Be careful because once you put it on you shouldn't really take it off.
Beautiful in my bathroom
My guest loves it
It's a great imaginary window idea.
What a wonderful addition to my guest room! Easily put up, only needing time and attention, no special tools! Excellent investment for a unique look!
So far so good! Only up a day but it came out nice and seems to have stuck very well. Not hard to install, just take your time and think it through 1st. Really adds depth to the room too. Although the image may look a bit out of focus or fuzzy up close, once on the wall it looks fine.
Of course the 1st two I ordered came with smashed and wrinkled edges since they weren't packed with any padding but the 3rd time was the charm. Since the edges overlap I wouldn't accept a roll with one end smashed/rolled over as it could show.
For install: 1st I removed a chair rail. Then sanded the whole wall with some 120 grit and a sanding block (piece of 2x4). This removed any small bumps or uneven spots. Then I wiped the whole wall down with a sponge and Windex.
I trimmed about 6" off the top of each panel before starting to hang them so the road didn't get cut off the bottom. Lined up the 1st panel evenly and then used what I trimmed off as a guide for the other 5 using a straight edge and razor.
When hanging I peeled about 6" of backing off, then lined up the edge with help. I used a straight piece of folded over cardboard to push the sticker on the wall working from the middle to the edges. I would push straight down the middle to the backing then sweep to the left edge, then right. Pull the backing off straight down and the image pretty much stays straight down the wall as long as you started the top off level too of course. With 2 people we just had one pull the backing and the other using the cardboard to flatten to the wall. Only took 2-3 minutes a panel.
Panel 2-6 overlaps the previous edge about an inch to line up. I applied over the power sockets without the covers and then cut close to the plugs and didn't get any wrinkles and the covers will cover all the cut edges. Then used a straight edge along the baseboard and cut the remainder off with the razor knife.
