I absolutely LOVED the idea of putting this mural behind my tiki bar out back. ...but after I got it, realized it cannot be used on a concrete wall. ...had to send it back. :( sad.

A lot of people have voiced the frustration of these murals not sticking to the wall. I myself ran into that same problem but came up with a solution that has worked 100% of the time. AND it doesn't ruin the walls so it is great for renters!! Go to Home Depot or Lowes and purchase 4ft x 8ft x 1/8" thick panel boards. Get however many you need to span the mural. Tack these up onto the wall, with the smooth side facing out (textured side against the wall) using either brad nails, regular nails, super long staples, whatever. If you use more than one board and there are seams between the panels run some packing tape or something smooth and thin along the seamline so that the mural doesn't gap, crease, or bubble when you are putting it up. The tape will ensure a smooth consistent backing. Once the panel boards are up on the wall, you can put the mural up. The mural will stick to the boards with no problem, but still allows for repositioning if needed when putting the mural up.
I have used several Wall26 murals, and the quality, graphics and thickness of the mural is by far the best that I have seen. It is the texture of the walls that's making the mural fall down. And, face it folks, all walls have texture these days even if it doesn't seem like it does ( unless you are putting the mural on concrete) So, please don't blame the mural or the quality of the mural, or even yourself. It's the walls fault!
I am not a vendor, solicitor, nor did I get any discount or kickbacks for this review. I am just a normal customer trying to make my walls beautiful. Hopefully with this little tip you can bypass the frustration and go straight to enjoying your beautiful wall!
